LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT The Flagstaff City Council humbly acknowledges the ancestral homelands of this area’s Indigenous nations and original stewards. These lands, still inhabited by Native descendants, border mountains sacred to Indigenous peoples. We honor them, their legacies, their traditions, and their continued contributions. We celebrate their past, present, and future generations who will forever know this place as home.

Executive Summary: | |||||
Resolution No. 2022-58 summarizes the results of the recent General/Special Election held on November 8, 2022, as indicated in the Final Results received from Coconino County Elections Department. As stated in the resolution, the results indicate that the following individuals have been elected: Becky Daggett Mayor; Austin Aslan, Councilmember; Lori Matthews, Councilmember; Khara House, Councilmember; Deborah Harris, Councilmember (short-term of two years). Additionally, Proposition 441 - Investing in City of Flagstaff wildfire suppression, stormwater flood mitigation, and wastewater treatment infrastructure and Proposition 442 - Creating rental and homeownership opportunities for residents of Flagstaff were approved. The new members will be sworn into office on December 20, 2022. ***Final Resolution with updated numbers will be presented at the meeting*** |
