Consideration and Approval of Contract: Approval of a contract addendum for the City Manager effective August 26, 2022.
Approve City Manager Contract Addendum
Executive Summary:
Flagstaff City Charter, Article III states:  The Council shall appoint an officer of the City who shall have the title of City Manager, and shall have the powers and perform the duties in this Charter provided. No Councilmember shall receive such appointment during the term for which elected, nor within one year after the expiration of the term.
The Council wishes to further recognize the performance of the City Manager over the past year, consistently exceeding expectations while navigating repeated unforeseen events by the award of a one (1) time Salary Bonus of $5,000.
The Council further wishes to recognize the stress and toll of the responsibilities of the City Manager, providing a healthier work/life balance with the addition of sixty (60) hours of vacation to be provided annually (loaded the pay period of the work anniversary), and otherwise subject to the city’s Vacation Leave ordinance. 
Financial Impact:
Funding for the City Manager is provided in the Flagstaff City budget.
